Sam & Tanner // Engaged!

Being part of anyone's special day, like a wedding or a senior portrait, is always such a special moment - but there is something so unique about getting to witness two beautiful souls get engaged. The plan was for Jessica and I to head to Palo Duro Canyon and scope out the spot where Tanner would propose to Sam. Meeting Tanner was like a scene out of a movie, walking across the parking lot and meeting in the middle, being extra cautious on social media (Sam doesn't have a Snapchat, so we fully took advantage of that) and giggling the whole drive to the location. Once we figured everything out, and found our "hiding" place, Jess and I hung out in Canyon, eating like locals at Chop Chop and refueling at Palace Coffee. Then, it was time. We drove back out to Palo and found our hiding spot. I became super anxious and nervous, psyching myself out - "what if I miss the shot...or what if I give myself away." But, just like that, we spotted Tanner's vehicle over the hill and we got in position. Capturing their engagement was so special. The love Sam & Tanner have for each other is so visible and I am beyond thrilled that they are engaged! She said yEstes! Below are some of my favorite photos from their engagement!
